In agony
Don't filter my pain,
I want to feel every bit of the anguish
So I'll learn to regain
Don't wrap me in clover or have euphoria blanket
The scars,
I need to feel every bit of this anguish
Even if it means I'm now marred.
Don't pacify my weeping with promises that sound
Like ones already made,
My happy ending may not exist or perhaps your existence
Caused the delay.
Don't sweet talk me into surrendering, my soul is still mine own possession,
Your smile disguises your intentions but in your eyes I see your indiscretion,
At this point apologies mean nothing, empty words that blow in smoke,
Voided tears that can't piece together the bloody heart you broke.
Your actions unjustified I am now unglued,
The end of me was your driving force, I had no clue.
You who pledged to me an eternity,
Who stole from me my entity,
I don't need it in return,
Take it with you to the hell where you'll burn,
Let it forever cast you in that stream of nightmares,
The same ones you bestowed upon me,
deceptive daggers thrown verbally,
I refuse to continue pretending,
While your head is held high, your spirit continues descending.
And yet I tell you,
Embrace me,
With all the agony you've poured in my soul,
Because that very pain you anticipated would kill me, Is helping my demons grow.
While you choose to scoff and view what's been done as irrelevant,
I
live with the destruction of your fury, To myself I was negligent,
And so
I curse you
Curse you for the carnage you placed in my reach and coerced me to delve into,
I never stood a chance, I didn't see the devil in you.
Abacinated by the enchanting sweet nothings you whispered ever so gently,
You used everything you could to distract and tempt me.
Until I became the fallen angel who lost her wings,
